For this new episode, I'm delighted to welcome Samuel Kaminka, former screenwriter turned producer, founder of Samka, Unique Animation and Jetpack Distribution and President of Anim France's Collège Télévision, and Christel Gonnard, screenwriter and director of writing in fiction and animation, who with Pauline Rocafull initiated the creation of the Cité Européennes des Scénaristes. In animation, we often talk about graphic style and animation technique, yet it all starts with a story, and more precisely a script and a literary bible. Both have worked on iconic series such as Zinzins de l'espace, Le Petit Prince, Heidi, Mily Miss Questions, Les Sisters and Loup (adapted from children's books that have sold 8 million copies). In this interview, they share with us their passion for this booming profession, the importance of the author's artistic intent behind the work, a vision of the world, for which one bears responsibility when writing stories for children. They have more than 1,000 stories to their credit!
