For this episode, I'm delighted to welcome Julien Borde, executive vice-president of the animation division of Mediawan, the independent European production group headed by Pierre-Antoine Capton. Among other things, Julien is responsible for developing Mediawan Animation's strategy. He tells us about the challenges of the new structure he has put in place for Method Animation, which highlights the group's creativity and know-how in the service of ambitious universes (Classics such as Robin Hood, The Little Prince, Pinocchio and The Three Musketeers (currently in development), Originals with the eagerly awaited Petronix Defenders, or animation for adults. The group's universes also include the international Miraculous franchise, the result of close collaboration between Aton Soumache (Method Animation) and Jeremy Zag (Zagtoon). Joann Sfar's fantasy universe with studio Magical Society continues to develop, while the film Le Petit Nicolas will be released in autumn. Enough to keep young and old dreaming for a long time to come!
