For this new episode, I'm delighted to welcome Lionel Fages, President of Cube Créative, a company he founded in 2002 with 2 other founders from TDI and Ex Machina, pioneers in 3D in the 80s. Cube was immediately interested in the profiles of young 3D directors emerging from French animation schools, such as Louis Clichy, Rémi Chapotot, Nicolas Deveaux, Philippe Rolland, William Hoareau and Tristan Michel. After producing numerous commercials, shorts and large-format projects, they launched Cube Productions to produce their own animated series: Kaeloo for Canal +, Pfffirates for TF1, Tangranimo for France TV and, of course, Athléticus and De Gaulle à la plage for Arte. In 2020, Xilam, the company founded and headed by Marc Du Pontavice, acquired a stake in Cube to accelerate their international growth - further proof that France is a leader in this field!
